Winged Serpent by KatarniaHolbart Winged Serpent by KatarniaHolbart
It is the same jar as the Non-Exsitance one I posted a while back. The Winged Serpent inside sits better on the branch and the glass spire is a nice touch.

Update: I gave this piece to an ex-roommate's daughter. It gives her some happiness in her dark times.

Thank you. It interesting seeing tons of glass jars and figuring that one can hide a scene or world in it.

How did you do that? I have a massive collection of glass jars (seeing as I feel bad about tossing them out) and now I have some ideas on how to use them. GREAT WORK!!!!!!!

The background is painted on the inside to protect it. So be prepared to do a lot of upside-down painting. The rocks and branches are heavily glued inside (I just pour the glue on the pebbles and/or rocks, then stir). I still have trouble keeping the branches up for the glue around it to dry so find a method that you like best. Other than that it is all trial and error method and whatever I have on hand.

This looks beautiful! It's a really interesting idea that you used here, creating a mini habitat inside a jar... if I were a winged serpent I wouldn't mind living inside there myself =P

That why I like doing them. I have a lot more like that in my gallery if you want to take a look around at the other jars.
